Electrolysis permanent hair removal

Find freedom from unwanted hair with electrolysis

Hair in places you wish it wasn't? Electrolysis may be the answer. From head to toe, blonde hair to black, electrolysis can handle it. Whether you are concerned about facial hair, hormonal hair growth or unwanted hair elsewhere on the body, electrolysis offers a permanent hair removal solution for all hair colours and skin tones.

What is electrolysis hair removal?

Electrolysis is a method of permanent hair removal that treats individual hair follicles using a fine probe and a carefully controlled electrical current. The current destroys the follicle's ability to produce hair, allowing unwanted hairs to be permanently removed.

Because hair grows in cycles, a course of treatments is usually needed to achieve lasting results.

Electrolysis works on all hair colours, and is suitable for all skin tones. It is suitable for a wide range of areas, including the upper lip, chin, cheeks, jawline, neck and body. It is particularly useful for hormonal hair growth, including hair associated with PCOS?PMOS and menopause, as well as for anyone seeking gender affirming hair removal.

FAQs

Is electrolysis permanent hair removal?
Yes. Electrolysis is a recognised method of permanent hair removal because it destroys the follicle's ability to produce a hair. A course of treatments is usually necessary to address hairs as they become treatable throughout their growth cycles.
Does electrolysis work on white, blonde or grey hair?
Yes. Unlike laser hair removal, electrolysis does not rely on pigment in the hair. It can therefore treat white, grey, blonde, red and darker hairs.
Is electrolysis painful?
Everyone experiences electrolysis differently. You may feel a short hot, tingling or pricking sensation during treatment. Sensitivity varies depending on the treatment area and individual tolerence. Some clients like to bring a stress ball!
How many electrolysis treatments will I need?
The number of treatments varies according to the area being treated, the amount and type of hair, hormonal influences and your individual growth cycle. Regular appointments are generally needed over a period of time to achieve the best possible results.
Can electrolysis help with PCOS/PMOS or menopausal facial hair?
Yes. Electrolysis can permanently remove indivivdual hairs associated with hormonal changes, including those experiencedwith PCOS/PMOS or menopause. Hormonal influences may continue to stimulate new hair growth, so ongoing maintenance may sometimes be needed.
