What is laser tattoo removal?

Laser tattoo reduction uses short pulses of conentated light energy to target tattoo in in the skin. The energy fragments the ink, which are gradually cleared from the skin by the body's natural processes.

Multiple treaments are usually needed, with time inbetween sessions to allow the skin to heal and the body to clear the ink partciles. The number of sessions depends on multile factors such as the size, ink depth, age, location as well as individual characteristics.

Some tattoos can be completely removed, given time, while other may only fade. Certain ink colours can be more difficult to treat, and complete removal can't be guarenteed.

Laser tattoo removal can also be used to lighten a tattoo before a cover up, giving your tattoo artist more options when creating a new design

Laser tattoo removal can also be used to remove unwanted semi-permanent make up.
